Biography

He has taught as a lecturer in Private Law at the University of Bergamo, the Italian Finance Police Academy, and Bocconi University in Milan.
He takes part in criminal defence teams in proceedings concerning corporate, financial and public administration offences.
He advises Public Administrations, public bodies and companies in disputes of significant economic and social importance, including those relating to public contracts, civil liability, environmental matters, and incentives and subsidies. He has also advised on major merger and acquisition transactions.
He has served as a member of the management committee and the board of statutory auditors of Banca del Monte di Lombardia, as well as of various companies in the banking and insurance sectors.
He was a member of the Judicial Council of the Milan Court of Appeal, elected by the Bar Associations of Lombardy from 2016 to 2021.
He is President of A.S.M. Pavia S.p.A., a public company managing local public services.He has been admitted to the Bar since 1979, qualifying at the Milan Court of Appeal. Since 1994, he has been admitted to practise before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione).
